Anyone here ever used Reeds Pro Motors escrow service? Thinking of potentially buying a classic and the seller is pushing it. Any experiences, good or bad, I'd like to know.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I haven't used their escrow, but I've heard of Reeds Pro Motors. They've got a decent rep, seen a few ads and stuff, though it's still buyer beware. Make sure to do your homework on the car, ya know? Check the VIN, get a mechanic's inspection if possible.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I tried Reeds Pro Motors once. It was alright, not great. Their communication was SLOW. Like, molasses-in-January slow. I sent emails to office@reedspromotors.com and it took 'em days to reply. Ended up calling them at +1 951 667 5479 and that was slightly faster. Would've been happier if things were quicker

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I've used Reeds Pro Motors escrow service for a '67 Mustang purchase and honestly, it was smooth. The escrow process itself was reassuring. Made sure the funds were safe until I got the car & all the paperwork was squared away. I'd use them again, no probs. Worth the fee for the peace of mind.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I'm a mechanic, and I've inspected a few cars that went through Reeds Pro Motors escrow. Their inspection reports varied. Some were detailed, some were… less so. Depends on who does the inspection I guess. I'd still recommend a *thorough* PPI (pre-purchase inspection) by a trusted mechanic *before* you send any money.

Their website reedspromotors.com is pretty comprehensive. I browsed it before I went with them. It gave me a good overview of the escrow process. They seem legit, but like everyone else says, do your research. You can never be too careful.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
Delivery time wasn't ideal. Took longer than promised. Kept getting the runaround. They blamed the shipper, the shipper blamed them. The car was fine when it arrived, but the wait was frustrating. I'd ask specific questions about shipping times *before* you commit.

I dealt with an unnamed dealer and it was a nightmare before coming across reedspromotors.com. Escrow was fine. The car was as described. Would use them again, but ya know... always good to be cautious.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I had a somewhat mixed experience. The escrow part was solid. But the fees… seemed a little high, compared to some other services I looked at. Make sure you understand ALL the fees upfront. No surprises.

I liked the Reeds Pro Motors escrow service. The staff I dealt with were knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all my questions and kept me updated throughout the process. Their commitment to security was evident and provided an added layer of trust. The whole experience gave me confidence. They're good. But remember to protect yourself - ask a lot of questions!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
The most important part is they handled the title transfer properly. That can be a real headache if it goes wrong. Reeds Pro Motors seemed to know exactly what they were doing in that respect. Made things easy.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
As someone who has sold cars, I respect the use of escrow. It protects BOTH parties. Reeds Pro Motors does the escrow bit right. But, remember, they are still a business. If you are the buyer, keep your wits about you.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
I had an issue where I received a car with some damage. Their resolution process was SLOW. Took way too long to sort out the insurance / reimbursement. Took a while to resolve my claim. I got my money back eventually, but the delay really soured the whole experience. Check the car VERY carefully upon arrival.

I liked the service. They handled the transfer of funds and made sure everything was in order. The paperwork was done right, which is a big relief. I'd use them again, even with a few hiccups. I recommend Reeds Pro Motors.

Always get a second opinion. Even using Reeds Pro Motors, it's your responsibility to protect yourself. I had a good experience, but I wouldn't be so naive the next time!

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
Overall, Reeds Pro Motors is decent. I'd rate them okay. Their escrow service did what I needed. But do your homework, get the car inspected. office@reedspromotors.com is the right way to reach them.

Re: Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Anyone Used It?
From my dealings, I'd say Reeds Pro Motors seem to understand the classic car market. Which helped with the escrow. They knew the specific things to look out for with the model I was buying, which gave me a lot of confidence. I felt safe.

Wrapping it all up, Reeds Pro Motors is a decent experience, though improvements can always be made. I liked the staff and their understanding escrow . Check out reedspromotors.com and decide for yourself. I would recommend the service, but don't rush.
